I am a thinker and a feeler. For the past two months, due to things not going the way I wanted them to in my life, and being inspired by one of my all-time favorite movies, “Eat, Pray, Love,” I decided to embark on an internal (the trip around the world to find myself wasn’t really poppin’ off) “truth-seeking” journey into myself. I felt that I had been in “fight” mode internally for years, always racing and striving to do more, do better, and never feeling peace within myself. I decided I was tired of “fighting” my way through life aimlessly, hoping to end up where I am supposed to be.
I decided it was time for change. I started meditating, taking time to pray and clear my mind, and simply making time to enjoy silence to allow God to speak to me. I am now growing much more than ever before, listening to the spiritual truths that God reveals to me (my “feeling” side), while also indulging an innate curiosity I have for history, particularly little-known African/Black history (yes, random with all my spiritual talk, I know, but this is my “thinking” side).
I’ve started to feel inspired to share the new truths I have uncovered, along with the lessons I’ve learned, through social media, like Facebook and Instagram. However, I’m now realizing that the messages I have are too long for both of those sites (plus since they’re “quick hit” sites, only a few people probably read them anyhow).
This leads me to where I am today. I feel compelled to write to share my knowledge and lessons with anyone with an open mind and heart. We are all spiritual beings on this Earth to continuously learn and grow, while making a difference in the lives of others. I want to share my journey of growing and learning with others.
This space is a place where freethinkers can commune, provide support, and share knowledge. I will share with you my spiritual insights, as well as random history facts of interest, as they come to mind. I hope this place will serve you by inspiring you to be happy with who you are and to love and be loved, while allowing God to be the pilot of your life as you surrender to God’s plan for you.
Peace, love, and blessings…
